Choose one of the following

• 1 Baneblade Super-Heavy Tank
• High Command Squad Mounted in a Chimera APC

Transport Pool

• 1 Transport Pool of 0-12 Chimera APCs or other transport vehicles

plus 0-4 choices from the following:

• 0-4 Troops choices
• 0-2 Heavy Support Choices
• 0-2 Fast Attack Choices
• 0-2 Elites Choices

Battalion support units can be attached to any subordinate command at need. Additional units attached to the Battalion HQ like the Military Police section, Battalion Hospital, Battalion Military Government Section, Battalion Chaplaincy, etc. are rarely deployed to the front but can be modeled if you wish for specific scenarios. 

Some modeling ideas for these auxiliary troopers are:

Military Police Section: veteran squad with attached commissar and veteran sergeant.

Battalion aid station: 2 veterans (medics) plus 10 batmen (see Imperial High Commander article in WD 306 or it's summary here)

Battalion Military Government Section: 10 rear echelon troopers (treat as conscripts)

Battalion Chaplaincy: 1 priest assisted by 2 scribes (treat scribes as batmen)

Battalion Band: 5 musicians
