Edoan

Personality: Edoans are among the best toolmakers in the Federation, due to their sensitive hands, and have great dexterity. They are very meticulous about detail, and make good scientists and technicians.

Physical Description: The Edoans are a slightly more recent addition to the Federation. They walk upright and have some resemblance to humans, but are tripedal, possessing three arms and three legs. They have round yellow eyes, and a concave, structured, head. Their skin is a strange orange hue, and is completely hairless. Edoans are a long-lived species, with lifespans stretching centuries. Elder Edoans will lapse into a death-like state every twenty-five years, then molt their skins and re-emerge in what is called the Rebirth

Homeworld: Edos III, a class-M planet in the Federation

Culture: The Edoan Curia is the legislature of the Federation Member State of Edos. It is chaired by Supreme Magisterial Authority of Edos.

Language: Triexian and Galanglic

Common Names: Artrin, Yel, Arex, and Eth

Favored Profession: Starship Officer (Engineer), Craftsman, Merchant, Administrator

Bonus Flaw: Extreme Shyness: Edoans are reserved, and extremely shy by human standards. Edoans cannot spend courage points on social tests.

Notable Individuals

Arex Na Eth: Arex Na Eth was a Edoan male serving in Starfleet in the 23rd centuries. He was born on Edos, one of twelve male and thirteen female children.

In the late 2260s into 2270, Lieutenant Arex served aboard the USS Enterprise, under Captain James T. Kirk, as navigator. By 2283, Arex had been promoted to Commander, and assigned to Starfleet Intelligence.
