Prime Directive

Prime Directive is the role-playing system published by Amarillo Design Bureau. It is "powered by GURPS" meaning the rules engine is GURPS Lite (available for free at Steve Jackson Games) and is compatible with the extensive line of GURPS supporting products.

GURPS is a highly flexible role-playing system - many moons ago, I wrote an unofficial GURPS version of Star Trek which is hosted here at Starbase 10.

Prime Directive is also available in a D20 (version 3.5) edition but since the long term viability of the open gaming license is in question, I won't be supporting that version of the game here. Prime Directive D20 players should have no trouble converting GURPS material for use with D20.
