Treaty of Axanar

SPECIFICATION ONE

All Klingon forces in space defined as within pre-war boundaries of the Federation are to be withdrawn immediately. Those unable to do so will be interned, but treated fairly and with due respect;
SPECIFICATION TWO Upon the signing of this document, all hostilities between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire will cease immediately;
SPECIFICATION THREE Upon formal cessation of hostilities, both signatories will immediately begin to expedite the exchange of prisoners and other civilians currently held;
SPECIFICATION FOUR The Klingon Empire forthwith and forever renounces all claims to the planet known as Axanar;
SPECIFICATION FIVE A zone of space twelve parsecs in width from the Federation's galactic southern border shall immediately be declared sovereign Federation space. Citizens of the Klingon Empire will be accorded one standard year to relocate from this region, after which full and complete control of any and all planetary systems within this region will come under the jurisdiction of the United Federation of Planets.
